I spend Monday(currently my day off, because the restaurant, where I work, is closed that day) watching videos of the Black Panther Party.
It brought back memories of when I lived in the California Bay Area and I was active in the VVAW(Vietnam Veterans Against the War).
The work that I did in common with Black Panther Party members were attempts to build an alternative society.
I had been involved in similar activities when I was a member of the Tri-Nations in the Bronx,New York.
The two areas of activity that I remember most were education and self-defense of our own community.
The police were more like an occupation force and the public schools often taught to accept and adapt to the powers that be.

It's lovely that someone post an ad on someone else's blog.
I hope that the adman sends some money to the blog instead of pimping someone else's site.
We weren"t big on anyone pimping off of the Black Panther Party.
