Suburban Christians For War

I read in the Tampa Tribune about a pro-war rally by a Christian group from Brandon.

It mentioned the group,which is extreme right Christian.

They only invited extreme right Republican politicians to speak at its rally so it is sectarian more than Christian.

I can never understand how a Christian group could support any war.

I never read of Jesus Christ taking up arms for any earthly power.

I,myself,belong to no political party,as I never want to be part of a mass following a leader.



I,as a Vietnam Veteran,was offended by some one in the news story,who said something like don't let this be our Vietnam.

I and many other Vietnam Veterans risked parts of our life to end that war.
